Manual Updates Failing on Windows?

In rare cases, you may be unable to update your Mylio Photos application manually. To resolve this issue, remove the current Mylio Photos application before manually installing the update. This situation is more common on Windows computers due to how security certificates are handled.

Removing Mylio Photos will not cause you to lose any images, edits, or metadata.

  1. Open your Settings for Windows. You can do this from the Windows menu (by clicking the gear icon) or by pressing the Windows Key + I.

  2. Choose the Apps category

  3. Scroll down to the applications list and locate Mylio Photos.

  4. Click to select Mylio Photos and choose Uninstall.

  5. Once the previous version has been removed, you can download and install Mylio Photos using the instructions above.
