Using the Find Command
Updated over 4 months ago

The Find command looks at the current page or container youโ€™re browsing and attempts to find matches. The Find dialog is hidden by default in most views but is always visible in the Map view.

Using the Find Command:

  1. Navigate to a view (e.g., All Photos, Calendar, etc.) by clicking its icon in the left sidebar.

  2. Open the Find dialog.

    • On a phone or tablet โ€“ Click the ellipsis icon to access the More menu and choose Find in this view.

    • On a computer โ€“ Press command + F (macOS) or ctrl + F (Windows) or click the ellipsis icon to access the More menu and choose Find in this view..

  3. Enter the desired criteria or a simple text string.

  4. Press the return or enter key, all non-matching results are grayed out.

    • When multiple results match, you can see a match count and select all results by clicking command + A (macOS) or ctrl + A (Windows) or by clicking on the underlined number. Once selected, you can share, move, or bulk modify the selected items.

  5. To exit Find mode, click the X to close the dialog box.
