Importing Facebook Photos

Importing your photos from Facebook is a quick and easy way to populate your Mylio library with some of your favorite photos. Using Mylio’s Facebook Album import will copy any photos that you want from your Facebook albums directly into your Mylio library.

Note:  Facebook import does not import videos at this time.
Note:  Mylio will only import photos that meet a specific set of security restrictions. This means that photos that have been uploaded by others and tagged with you in them will not be imported. Only pictures of you that you have uploaded or confirmed as being you will be imported. This may cause a discrepancy in what you see online and what you see in Mylio.
  1. Select the Import icon from the top right corner of Mylio.
  2. Select Online Services.
  3. Select Facebook.

  4. Mylio will automatically ask you for your Facebook user email and password.
  5. Once signed in, Mylio will display your albums on Facebook and allow you to select the ones you want to import.
  6. Once your albums are selected, you will be asked to confirm the location that you want to save your photos. You can save Facebook photos to any folder. Use the three dots to the right of each filed to change your selection. When ready, select “Import Now” and your images will be imported to the destination folder in your Mylio library.

Mylio will also read any tagged people in your Facebook photos and display them automatically in Mylio’s People view for convenience. If you upload new photos to your Facebook in an albums later on, they will not be downloaded automatically to Mylio. However, you can import the album again and only the newly added photos will be copied into Mylio.
