Mylio for iOS Taking Up a Large Amount of iCloud Space
Mylio for iOS Taking Up a Large Amount of iCloud Space
Updated over a week ago

iOS and iPadOS users have the option to back up and protect the Mylio Photos app and catalog (including optimized Images and metadata) using iCloud. If your iPhone or iPad is lost or stolen, the iCloud backup can be used to restore your Mylio Photo app on a new device.

Using iCloud to back up your app data will make use of your available iCloud storage space and may require a paid iCloud subscription to fully back up your apps and related data.

Apple enables app backup to iCloud by default. However, if Mylio Photos is using too much space, you can disable iCloud's backup of the Mylio Photos app.

Disabling Mylio From Backing Up to iCloud

  1. Open the Settings app on your iOS device.

  2. Tap on your name at the top of the page to access your iCloud settings.

  3. Tap iCloud.

  4. Tap iCloud Backup under the DEVICE BACKUPS section.

  5. Select the Device to be managed and wait a moment for the list of applications being backed up to appear.

  6. Find Mylio Photos in the list and uncheck it.
