Welcome to Mylio Preview!

Mylio Preview gives you an early look at the next generation of Mylio. It's a chance to explore upcoming features before they're released and help shape the future of the product by sharing your feedback.

Mylio Preview is pre-release software intended for evaluation and feedback only. Features may change before release, and some functionality may still be under development.

Before you begin

• Mylio Preview is pre-release software. It is intended for evaluation and feedback only.
• Your existing Mylio Photos library is safe. Mylio Preview works with its own separate library.
  • CAUTION: Folders in your Mylio Photos Library should NOT be linked to Mylio Preview. If you wish to test with the same set of images, perform a copy import instead.
• Customer Support cannot provide assistance for Mylio Preview. Please use this article, the in-app Help, and the Mylio Preview Feedback Form if you have questions or feedback. You can also find more information in the Mylio Preview Community Page.

What is the Mylio Preview?

The Mylio Preview application lets you explore new features before they're officially released.

By participating in the Mylio Preview program, you help us:

How is Mylio Preview different from Mylio Photos?

Getting started

Mylio Preview installs as a separate application.

You can run Mylio Preview and Mylio Photos at the same time on the same computer.

The two applications operate independently and do not interfere with one another.

Your feedback is the most valuable part of the Mylio Preview program.

Whether you've found a bug, have an idea, or simply want to tell us what you think, we'd love to hear from you.

Known limitations

Because Mylio Preview is still under development:

• Some features may be incomplete.
• Features may change before release.
• Documentation will evolve over time.
• Mylio Preview builds will expire and require updating.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will Mylio Preview modify my existing library?

No. Mylio Preview never modifies your existing Mylio Photos library or your original photos.

Can I run Mylio Preview and Mylio Photos at the same time?

Yes. They are separate applications and can run simultaneously.

Can I use Mylio Preview as my primary photo library?

No. Mylio Preview is intended for testing and evaluation only.

Is Mylio Preview supported by Customer Support?

No. Mylio Preview is an unsupported pre-release application. Customer Support cannot answer Mylio Preview questions or create support tickets.

How long can I use Mylio Preview?

Mylio Preview builds are available for a limited time and will expire as newer builds become available.

When will the real new version be available?

We expect the next generation of the Mylio apps to be released in the late Fall of 2026, with subsequent iterative releases through the end of the year and into early 2027.

What will be the cost of the new version?

Pricing and plan contents are still being finalized and will be announced at a later date. As always, we will make sure our existing customers have an easy and reasonable upgrade path.
