Organize Files into Folders During Import

The Folder Organization options during import, with "Add selected folder as new item" chosen and date-based options such as Year/Month/Day below.

  1. When Adding Media, in the Copy/Move dialog click “Show Advanced Settings” and scroll down.
  2. Choose “Add selected folder as new item” or “Add contents of selected folder”.
  3. Select sub-folder format: Year/Month/Day, Year/Month, Year, Day, Current Date, or Custom.
  4. Select destination for files/folders.
  5. Click “Move” or “Copy” to finish.
