Rename Files During Import

The File Naming options during import, with "Keep existing file names" chosen and other choices such as Prefix-Sequence and Custom.

  1. When Adding Media, in the Copy/Move dialog click “Show Advanced Settings” and scroll down.
  2. Select “Keep existing file names” next to “File naming”.
  3. Choose a renaming option: Prefix-Sequence, Year-Month-Day-Sequence, Year-Month-Sequence, Camera-Sequence, or Custom.
