Troubleshooting: Missing Tools or Icons in Mylio Photos

Common Reasons Tools May Be Missing
You’re in a Space with limited access
Spaces can be configured to show only specific views, folders, or tools. If you switch into a Space designed for sharing or focused workflows, some tools may be hidden on purpose.
You’re using a Workflow that hides tools
Workflows control which tools are visible. Some workflows are designed to simplify the interface by hiding advanced or less-used tools.
You’re a guest on someone else’s account
If you’re part of a Family or Team plan and accessing someone else’s library, your permissions may be limited. This can restrict which Spaces, views, and tools you can see or use.
How to Fix the Issue
Step 1: Check your account role

If you are not the account owner your access may be limited by design. Contact the account owner or administrator and ask them to review your permissions or Space access.

If you are the account owner, continue with the steps below.
Step 2: Switch back to the Everything Space

Open the Spaces selector.

Choose Everything.

If prompted, enter your Master Passcode.
The Everything Space provides full access to your entire library and all available tools.
Step 3: Switch to the All Tools Workflow

Open the Workflow selector.

Choose All Tools.
This ensures that no tools are hidden by workflow restrictions.
Step 4: Reset all views (recommended)
If you’re still missing tools or aren’t sure what changed, resetting views is the fastest fix.

From the operating system menu bar, choose View.

Select Reset All Views and enter your Master Passcode if needed.
This will:

Return you to the Everything Space

Switch to the All Tools Workflow
